Donna started Career Techniques Inc. in 2006 as a technology consulting placement firm predominately for the financial services industry. Over the years it has grown to include contingency recruiting for not only technology but finance and accounting.

Prior to starting Career Techniques Donna spearheaded the development of the Information Technology Consulting Division for The Ayers Group; developing and implementing its infrastructure to sales of over $7.5 million annually.

Donna completed a 5 year BS/MBA from Lehigh University. The institution greatly benefits from her active and successful annual fundraising efforts. Ms. Held has been a guest speaker at TENG, NWO, Connect to Care and other networking groups. She is a FWA member and Mentor.

Donna enjoys playing Golf, Tennis and Mah Jong. Traveling is one of her favorite past times.

David joined the team in 2015. He is client centric, making his clients happy is his first and foremost objective. David is a driving force in the company, bringing fresh ideas in the way of marketing and strategy as well as being extremely personable. Prior to working at Career Techniques Inc. he was a Senior Financial Analyst for TouchTunes Interactive Networks and Readers Digest Association. He holds a BS in Finance and Marketing Management from Syracuse University, and a Public Communications degree from the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

David is a member of the Junior Board for Project Renewal, an organization dedicated to assisting the homeless and underprivileged within NYC.

David is a native New Yorker and lives in Manhattan. He is a sports fanatic and when he is not watching he is playing Golf, Tennis, or Soccer, but if it’s the winter time you can catch him on the slopes.

Detta has many years of experience in the IT arena both as a hands on technical contractor as well as an assistant in the hiring of personnel, in the role of evaluator and subsequent employee instructor. As an employee of Career Techniques Inc. she is a jack of all trades; whether it's administering the company database, monitoring emails, documentation, maintaining the website or recruiting, she is on it!

Detta has been involved in technology and web development throughout her career as a graphics designer, coder, technical writer and administrator. Over the years she has worked with Donna as a consultant on various projects for clients such as New York Stock Exchange, Republic National Bank, Phillip Morris and AIG.

Detta attended Long Island University where she studied Computer Science. She holds many and varied certifications. On her time off, she enjoys working with her dogs in order to compete in obedience trials, playing music and botany.
