Description

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit,grow, and develop the engineering team
  • Define and manage the entire development team including multiple feature sprint teams and DevOps including employees and overseas contractors
  • Drive architecture discussions and development decisions through inclusion and participation of the senior engineers on the team
  • Own the development processes and procedures
  • Coordinate with engineering leadership across multiple development organizations
  • Provide product delivery schedules and deliver product features that meet the product requirements on schedule
  • Be a mentor and coordinator and provide guidance to all engineers
  • Be a platform and technology expert for other business units including business development, legal, compliance, and product

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of full stack development management experience including hiring, HR, and performance evaluation responsibilities
  • 8+ years in defining processes and driving best practices in Agile software development
  • Experience with providing architecture leadership and implementing micro services architecture
  • Experience building and managing multi-tiered development teams
  • Experience in managing remote development teams preferred
  • Experience with building secure, financial systems preferred
