Java Developer

This is a remote position for candidates located in the US, ET time zone.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal and client facing teams to understand solution context and contribute to technical requirement gathering and analysis
• Create High Level Design and Detailed design documents for the solutions to be implemented
• Work with technical architects on the team to validate design and implementation approach
• Write production-ready code that is easily testable and understood by other developers along with ensuring that architecture/design guidelines and coding best practices are followed
• Write unit test cases and testing scenarios to provide coverage across both positive and negative testing scenarios
• Uses bug tracking, code review, version control and other tools to organize and deliver work
• Participate in scrum calls and agile ceremonies, and effectively communicate work progress, issues and dependencies
• Consistently contribute to researching & evaluating latest technologies through rapid learning, conducting proof-of-concepts and creating prototype solutions

Requirements:

Must Have

• 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience
• Strong programming/computer science background is must
• Strong analytical and problems solving skills
• Ability to independently run POCs on new technologies and document findings to share
• Ability to learn new technologies and concepts rapidly
• Strong in Programming languages – Java, PySpark and Programming basics - Data Structures
• Experience in development and/or design on clouds – AWS

A Plus

• Good understanding of container orchestration engines like Kubernetes, EKS
• Hands on experience building CI/CD pipelines and awareness of practices for application monitoring
• Certifications in cloud/Big Data Technologies like – AWS certification, Databricks etc
